Description
A made-to-order print on archival paper: Innova Fibaprint Matt from my original watercolour painting on paper: ‘Chasing the dragon’. Please note that the prints will have white paper edges, not the black backgrounds as shown.
Chinese dragons are symbols of strength, power and good luck. Unlike the warlike European dragons, Chinese dragons are benevolent. My dragons are always drawn with 5 claws on each foot – assigned to represent the son of heaven: the emperor. Dragons with 3-4 claws were assigned to lesser beings (Qing dynasty).
