Description
A wheelthrown, tiny bonsai pot in white Lumina midfire, unglazed porcelain. The pot sits on three ‘feet’, attached to the bottom of the vessel. There is a hole approx 1cm in diameter for drainage. The exterior is hand painted with cobalt oxide in a floral design – the material used in Chinese blue and white porcelain, and delftware.
Lumina midfire porcelain is a true porcelain clay that fires at a slightly lower temperature than other porcelains. It is a true porcelain and the clay is a luminous white when fired.
As all pots are individually made and decorated, no two will be the same. I am also evolving with my decoration style so they will also change over time
The measurements are approximately:
height: 5 – 7cm
diameter: 7 – 9cm
